Umamah Abike Tajudeen Emerges Best Graduating Student of Insurance at UNILAG with 4.90 CGPA

At the University of Lagos (UNILAG) 2026 Convocation Ceremony held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, Umamah Abike Tajudeen was honored as the Best Graduating Student of the Department of Insurance. 

Graduating with First Class Honours, Tajudeen achieved a stellar Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.90 out of a possible 5.00 for the 2024/2025 academic session. Her achievement was celebrated at the J.F. Ade. Ajayi Auditorium, where she was accompanied by her parents, Alhaji Tajudeen AbdulYaqeen and Hajia Monsurat Tajudeen. 

Her success stands as a significant milestone for the Faculty of Management Sciences, highlighting academic excellence and dedication within the university’s competitive insurance program. Tajudeen’s journey serves as an inspiration to the Muslim Ummah and the broader student body, demonstrating the rewards of discipline and consistent academic rigor.
