Umar Maryam Ayomide Crowned Best Female Advocate of the Year and Appointed Judge of LAWSAN Judiciary

Umar Maryam Ayomide, a 300-level law student at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), has been crowned Best Female Advocate of the Year at the recent Caliphate Mooting Competition. She was also appointed as Judge Four of the Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) UDUS chapter judiciary.

Maryam Ayomide expressed her gratitude for the recognition and appointment, stating that it was a dream come true and a reflection of her commitment to her goals. She emphasized the importance of inclusivity in the faculty and plans to advocate for more student participation in mooting competitions.
