Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic Announces Final One-Week Extension of First Semester Examination for New Students

The Management of Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, UASP, has approved a final one-week extension of the First Semester Examination for the 2025/2026 Academic Session for new students only.

This was contained in a notice dated 18th July, 2026 and signed by the Registrar, Sirajo Abubakar.

According to the notice, the Ag. Rector, Engr. Aliyu Sulaiman Mindaudu, approved the extension to provide fresh students the opportunity to complete their registration processes. The management stressed that no further extension shall be granted.

The notice stated that the examination for Fresh/New Students will now commence on Monday, 27th July, 2026.

College Directors, Heads of Department, Examination Officers and other relevant officers have been directed to adjust their examination schedules and ensure compliance with the directive.

Staff and students of the polytechnic have been urged to take note and disseminate the information accordingly.
