UNICAL Schedules 2025/2026 Inter-Denominational Service

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced its 2025/2026 academic session Inter-denominational Service to hold on Monday, 19th January 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Godswill Akpabio International Conference Centre.

Themed “Season of Restoration Through Grace,” the service aims to foster spiritual growth and unity across the university community.

To ensure full participation, the Vice-Chancellor has directed that all lectures for the day be rescheduled, allowing both staff and students to attend the service. Members of the university are encouraged to appear in UNICAL fabrics or attire featuring blue and white to add colour and unity to the occasion.

The notice, signed by the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka I. Icha, was circulated to principal officers including the Vice Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellors, the Bursar, University Librarian, Deans, Heads of Departments, and the President of the Student Union Government. The Registrar extended best wishes for a spirit-filled experience to all attendees.
