The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has issued an important directive to all newly admitted first-year students regarding the upcoming matriculation ceremony.
In Circular No. 505 dated January 27, 2026, the Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Catherine Ndifon Osai, emphasized that the payment of the matriculation fee is mandatory for all Year One students to complete registration and participate in the official ceremony.
Payment Details and Procedure
The matriculation fee is set at Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00). Students are instructed to make payments exclusively through the University’s Sundry Charges Payment Portal:

Gown Collection Process
Following successful payment, students must complete the gown collection process as follows:
- Print the official payment receipt from the portal.
- Present the printed receipt at your respective Faculty Office to collect your matriculation gown.
The University management stressed that no student will be allowed to register for courses or participate in registration activities without proof of matriculation fee payment.
All concerned students are urged to complete payment promptly to avoid delays or complications in their academic registration.
