UNILAG Announces Extension of 2025/2026 First Semester Examinations

The Management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially announced an extension of the first (1st) semester examination timetable for the 2025/2026 academic session. 

Originally scheduled to conclude on Saturday, April 4, 2026, the examinations will now terminate on Saturday, April 11, 2026. 

Reason for Adjustment

According to the University, the one-week extension is to accommodate the upcoming Eid-el-Fitr and Easter public holidays. The decision aims to ensure that students and staff can observe these significant religious celebrations without academic conflict, while also allowing for a more balanced examination schedule. 

Action for Students

All students are advised to check their respective departmental notice boards and the student portal for updated versions of the examination timetable. The University management encourages students to utilize this additional time to further prepare for their remaining papers.
