The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is gearing up for its 2024 International Week, scheduled to take place from Monday, October 21, to Friday, October 25. Organized by the Office of International Relations, Partnerships, and Prospects, this year's theme is "Inclusive Digital Transformation and the University Promise."

Kicking off the week on October 21, the event will feature a Virtual International Week Fair. The formal opening is set for Tuesday, October 22, which will include a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor, welcoming addresses, and goodwill messages from various esteemed organizations, including the National Universities Commission (NUC), Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), European Union (EU), and the MasterCard Foundation. The opening day will also host a keynote speech, interactions with the diplomatic corps, and representatives from invited universities, followed by a university tour and innovation challenge awards.

On Day Two, discussions will center on digital transformation and global issues, featuring plenary sessions such as "Digital Transformation and Global Health Equity" and "Smart Cities – How Can We Use Tech to Build a City for Us."

Day Three will include an Area Studies Panel Discussion and will conclude with a cultural performance and a closing ceremony.
