UNILORIN Explores Partnership with KAM Holding for STIP Initiative

The University of Ilorin's management team, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Wahab Egbewole, SAN, visited KAM Holding Limited, Nigeria's largest indigenous metal and steel production company.

The visit aimed to explore potential collaboration for the proposed Science, Technology, and Innovation Park (STIP).

The STIP initiative seeks to translate academic research into commercially viable products and services. Prof. Daniel Kitaw, a visiting lecturer and expert in industrial engineering, is championing the establishment of Unilorin Techno Park and expressed enthusiasm about the potential of STIP to serve Sub-Saharan Africa.
