UNILORIN Honors Second Bulletin Board for Dedicated Service

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) recently honored the contributions of the second UNILORIN Bulletin Board at a special meeting held on July 18, 2024. The appreciation was conveyed by Prof. Mary Esere, who represented the Chairman of the Editorial Board, Prof. Mahfouz Adebola Adedimeji.

Prof. Esere expressed the University’s gratitude to the outgoing Board members for their dedicated service from 2012 to 2024. The Board played a crucial role in promoting the University’s image through its weekly publications.

During the meeting, Mr. Kunle Akogun, the Secretary of the Board and Editor of the weekly newsletter, praised the former members for their unwavering commitment. He highlighted their resilience in ensuring that the Bulletin was published every Monday, even during challenging times such as national lockdowns and staff strikes.

Prof. Lukman Adeshina Azeez, the former Chairman of the Board and Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences, expressed his appreciation to the University management for recognizing the efforts of the Board.
