UNIMEDTH Health Attendants Honour CMD with Customized Wall Clock
The Health Assistants, University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTH) Ondo, has honoured the Hospital's Chief Medical Director, Professor Michael Olumide Gbala, with a customized wall clock in recognition of his examplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the growth of the Institution.
The symbolic presentation, made during a courtesy visit to the CMD's office, reflected the association's gratitude for his exceptional support and commitment to staff welfare, professional excellence and the hospital's drive toward improved healthcare service delivery.
Presenting the gift on behalf of the health assistants and attendants, Mrs. Olakunle Oreoluwa, described Professor Michael Olumide Gbala as a visionary and commitment leader whose administration has brought remarkable progress, fostered unity, and enhanced the welfare of staff and the overall development of the Institution.
She noted that although the group had not previously had the opportunity to celebrate his appointment, the presentation was a token of appreciation for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the growth of the hospital.

Also speaking, the Vice President of the association, Mr. Akinneye Wilson, commended Professor Gbala's leadership style, describing him as a " talk -and -do' administrator who has demonstrated sincerity and commitment to the welfare of workers. He urged the CMD to give favorable consideration to the association requests.
Receiving the gift, Professor Michael Olumide Gbala expressed appreciation to the Health Assistants for the thoughtful gesture and thanked them for their continued cooperation and support for the hospital management.
The CMD reaffirmed that staff welfare remains one of the cardinal priorities of his administration. He emphasized that a motivated workforce is essential for quality healthcare delivery.
According to him, 'When the staff are happy, they will take good care of the patients. Patients will come and go, but the staff will remain. When management takes care of its staff, the staff will reciprocate through dedicated and quality service"
Professor Gbala assured the delegation that the management remains committed to creating a conducive working environment and improving the welfare of staff in line with the hospital's vision of delivering excellent healthcare services.
Among management officials present at the presentation were the Director of Administration, Mr. Sabejeje Lawrence, DCMAC, Research and Special Duties, Dr. Akinkunmi Bola Francis, Director of Accounts, Mr. Ola Oyedare, Director of Nursing Services, Mrs. Ajetumobi feyintola Olayinka; and other members of the hospital's management team.
