UNIUYO Extends GST 311 Assignment Submission Deadline
The University of Uyo Students’ Union Government (UNIUYO SUG), through the Office of the Director of Academics, has announced an extension of the submission deadline for the GST 311 (Peace and Conflict Resolution) assignment.
The University of Uyo Students’ Union Government (UNIUYO SUG), through the Office of the Director of Academics, has announced an extension of the submission deadline for the GST 311 (Peace and Conflict Resolution) assignment.
The assignment, which was initially scheduled to close on January 28, 2026, has now been extended to Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
According to the Director of Academics, Comrade Miracle Victor Etim, the decision followed widespread complaints from students affected by delays in course registration on the University portal. He explained that the technical challenges prevented many students across faculties and departments from accessing their GST slips, a compulsory requirement for assignment submission.

The extension, he noted, is specifically targeted at students and departments still experiencing registration and GST slip-related issues. However, students who have successfully completed their registration and obtained their slips have been advised to submit their assignments immediately to avoid congestion and last-minute challenges ahead of the new deadline.
The Students’ Union reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a fair and supportive academic environment and encouraged students facing further GST-related or academic difficulties to contact the Office of the Director of Academics for assistance.
The announcement was issued by the Office of the Director of Academics, University of Uyo Students’ Union Government.
