University of Abuja Hosts Roundtable Conference on Creative Writing, Inaugurates Centre

The University of Abuja recently hosted a successful roundtable conference on creative writing, featuring renowned keynote speakers Professor Dul Johnson, Professor Tanure Ojaide, and Professor Bode Ojoniyi.

The conference explored the genres of poetry, drama, and prose, fostering engaging discussions among participants.

The event was chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi, who also inaugurated the University's Centre for Creative Writing. Professor Maikudi emphasized the transformative power of storytelling in shaping societies, influencing policies, and driving national development.
