The University of Abuja (UofA) has officially inaugurated the Board of the Centre for Innovation Hub and Creative Technologies (IHCT). The ceremony took place yesterday on the university's Main campus, led by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Aisha Sani Maikudi.

During the inauguration, Professor Maikudi highlighted the university's commitment to fostering collaborations with technical partners to enhance the educational experience for students and contribute positively to the surrounding community. This initiative is expected to pave the way for innovative projects and skill development opportunities within the institution.

The newly formed IHCT board is chaired by Professor Abdullahi Saleh Bashir, the Dean of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies. The board comprises esteemed members, including Professor Taibat Atoyebi, Dr. Abel Osagie, Mr. Johnson Oluwasoji Thomas, and Mrs. Taibat Ajiboye, all of whom bring diverse expertise to the table.
