The warning serves as a reminder to students of the consequences of engaging in illegal activities, including rustication and other disciplinary actions. In a similar incident in 1991, a student at another university was queried by the Senate for selling their bed space and was almost rusticated.

Students are urged to take this warning seriously and to prioritize their academic pursuits over any form of illegality. The university management is committed to maintaining a conducive learning environment and will not tolerate any form of fraudulent activity.
