UNIZIK Appoints Ekene Ezeumeanya as Special Adviser on New Media

The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, has appointed Mr. Ekene Prosper Ezeumeanya as Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor on New Media.

The appointment, which takes effect immediately, was communicated in a letter signed by the Registrar, Dr. Chinenye Gloria Okeke, dated 12 January 2026.

Mr. Ezeumeanya, an Administrative Officer in the Open Space and Space Allocation Directorate (OSSA), brings over 11 years of experience in digital broadcast journalism. In his new role, he is expected to leverage his expertise in digital media to enhance the University’s outreach, communication, and digital engagement.

The University congratulates Mr. Ezeumeanya on his new appointment.
