UNIZIK Vice-Chancellor Meets with NASU Leadership, Pledges Action on Staff Welfare

The Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Professor Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, on Monday, 8th December 2025, hosted the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU), UNIZIK Branch.

During the visit, NASU Chairperson Comrade Chigozie Ikegulu highlighted key concerns, including delayed promotion letters, unresolved unpaid staff matters, and outstanding earned allowances.

Prof. Anyaehie appreciated the union’s unity and composure, assuring them of an inclusive administration committed to addressing their concerns and strengthening service delivery within the university.

The delegation also included Comrade Vivian Obika (Nnewi Chapter Chairperson), Comrade Chijioke Odili (Secretary), and others.
