The visit, which marked a significant milestone for the university’s College of Health Sciences, included a comprehensive inspection of facilities and the Vice-Chancellor's active participation in the College Staff Assembly.
Upon his arrival, Professor Anyaehie was received by the Provost of the College, Professor JKC Emejulu. The Provost led the Vice-Chancellor and a high-level delegation on an extensive tour of the campus, showcasing both the academic and medical research facilities that form the backbone of the institution's health sciences programs.
During the facility tour, the Vice-Chancellor took the opportunity to engage directly with staff and students, gathering first-hand information on the operational needs and challenges faced at the Nnewi site. This hands-on approach aligns with Prof. Anyaehie's ongoing commitment to institutional reform and the enhancement of student and staff welfare across all satellite campuses.
