UNN Announces PTDF Professoral Chair Capacity-Building and Training Workshop
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has invited members of the university community to participate in the PTDF Capacity-Building and Training Workshop scheduled to hold from Thursday, September 10 to Friday, September 11, 2026, at the New Faculty of Agriculture Building, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has invited members of the university community to participate in the PTDF Capacity-Building and Training Workshop scheduled to hold from Thursday, September 10 to Friday, September 11, 2026, at the New Faculty of Agriculture Building, University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
The two-day workshop, organised around the theme, “High-Resolution Geophysical Exploration Techniques (Data Acquisition, Processing and Interpretation),” is designed to strengthen participants’ knowledge and practical skills in modern geophysical exploration techniques.
The training will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of high-resolution geophysical exploration, with particular emphasis on hands-on experience in the use of relevant geophysical equipment and software applications.

The programme details are as follows:
Opening Ceremony: Thursday, September 10, 2026 – 10:00 a.m.
Close-out: Friday, September 11, 2026 – 4:00 p.m.
Venue: New Faculty of Agriculture Building, University of Nigeria, Nsukka
Members of the university community are encouraged to participate in the capacity-building initiative, which is aimed at enhancing technical knowledge and practical competence in geophysical exploration.
The workshop is organised under the PTDF Professorial Chair at the University of Nigeria.
