University of Abuja Lecturer Inaugurated as 6th National Chairman of NIPetE
A lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Abuja, Dr Yetunde Aladeitan, has been inaugurated as the sixth National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers (NIPetE).
A lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Abuja, Dr Yetunde Aladeitan, has been inaugurated as the sixth National Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Petroleum Engineers (NIPetE).
Aladeitan will lead the professional body for a two-year tenure, during which she is expected to drive initiatives aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s engineering capacity and supporting the development of the profession.

Speaking on her plans, Aladeitan said her administration would focus on mentorship and internship schemes designed to connect young engineers with experienced industry leaders.
She said the initiatives would provide emerging engineers with opportunities to gain practical industry experience, receive professional guidance and develop the skills needed to contribute effectively to Nigeria’s engineering sector.
