UNN Computer Science Student Reportedly Shot by Armed Robbers

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) community is in mourning following the tragic death of Simeon, a student in the Department of Computer Science. 

Reports emerging yesterday, December 25, 2025, indicate that the student was intercepted and shot dead by armed robbers while traveling back to his home village. The incident has sent shockwaves through the student body and faculty, marking a somber end to the year for the department. 

According to preliminary reports, the victim was in transit when the attack occurred.
