Update on Need For School ID Card For NYSC Camp Registration

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released its camp registration requirements and a school ID card forms an integral part.

Myschoolnews gathered a school ID card is one of the requirements for camp registration, you don't need it for online reg. but you have to present it alongside your Statement of Result/Notification of Result in camp before you can be registered.

In a case where you don't have it, you will be sent back home. 

Some schools usually retrieve the ID card from their students at the point of issuing out degree certificate, but if it's only a Statement of Result your school issued to you, the ID card won't be retrieved and so you can use it. 

Once you have your certificate, you don't need a school ID card for NYSC. You will only need an ID card if what you have is a Statement of result. 

In a case where you misplaced your school ID card, visit the Student's Affairs Division of your Institution to get a letter of Identification and present it when you get to camp.
