UPDATED: 2024 General Admission Requirements for Federal University Wukari

The Federal University Wukari has outlined its admission requirements for the 2024 academic session.

Prospective students can gain admission into Bachelor's degree programs through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Here are the detailed requirements:

 

Admission through UTME:

Candidates must write the UTME and achieve an acceptable score in English and three other subjects relevant to the proposed course of study.

Obtain an acceptable score in the compulsory University post-UTME screening test.

Pass five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at credit level at not more than two sittings in GCE, WASCE, NECO, or NABTEB, relevant to the course of study.

UTME candidates should normally be at least 16 years old.

Admission through Direct Entry (DE):

Possess a minimum of five subjects passed at not more than two sittings, including two A-level passes in subjects relevant to the proposed course of study.

Attain an acceptable level of passes in two subjects at the IJMB examination, Cambridge moderated school of Basic Studies terminal examination, or International Baccalaureate from recognized institutions, along with SSCE/GCE O/Level credits or equivalent in three other subjects.

Hold a National Diploma (ND) with at least a Lower Credit Pass from recognized institutions, with a minimum of five 'O' level credits passed at not more than two sittings.

HND passed at not less than a lower credit from a recognized institution, plus five 'O' level credits passed at not more than two sittings.

Departmental Requirements for B. Agriculture (Crop Science) Program:

For Direct Entry: Two 'A' Passes to include Chemistry and any one of Biology, Zoology, Botany.

For SSCE/GCE: Five 'O' level credits, including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics/Economics/Geography, and Biology/Agricultural Science (not more than two sittings).

UTME Subjects: Biology/Agricultural Sciences, Chemistry, and Physics or Mathematics.

ND/NCE/HND: At least lower credits in related fields.
