VC Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji Bello approves psychological services for LASU community, t the Department of Behavioural Medicine is also a Consultant psychiatrist at LASUTH. myschoolnews reports.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji - Bello, mni, has approved the proposal of the Department of Behavioural Medicine, Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), that identified student of the University who is acutely disturbed behaviourally or experiencing psychotic conditions, and needs psychotropic medication or admission to the psychiatric ward of Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), be referred to the Department for holistic management of the diagnosed mental health condition.

The University Community is hereby informed that all the Lecturers at the Department of Behavioural Medicine are also Consultant psychiatrists at LASUTH, and will be glad to synergize and collaborate with the Department of Psychology and the University's Counselling Unit to assist any affected student.
