WAFROEX, a multinational apiculture and agro-allied organisation powered by Goldswarm, has reinforced its commitment to agricultural innovation and sustainability at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) with the donation of 100 new beehives and 25 stands to support apiculture development within the university.

During the official presentation, the WAFROEX Project Manager, Mr. Abdulrahman Shomala, explained that the initiative aligns with the organisation’s mission to promote modern beekeeping practices and empower tertiary institutions to drive honey and by-product value chain growth across West Africa.

This donation extends WAFROEX’s long-standing support to FUNAAB, which has previously included the establishment of demonstration apiaries and capacity-building workshops for staff and students.
