This follows its provisional accreditation in 2019, marking a new chapter in the institution’s growth and commitment to academic excellence.
The accreditation process involved a thorough evaluation conducted by a team from the NUC, including members from the Consultancy Services Unit and the Directorate of Inspection and Monitoring. The assessment covered the university's facilities, academic programs, and overall readiness to provide quality education.
In recognition of this achievement, the management of Westland University paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume. Senator Akume commended the university for its progress and contributions to Nigeria’s academic sector, acknowledging the strides it has made in enhancing educational standards.
With this full operational license, Westland University is now authorized to offer a wider range of accredited programs across various faculties.
