World Bank-Supported IDEAS Project: Quality Assurance Assessors Review Aquaculture Training at UniAbuja
The University of Abuja Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Centre has received Quality Assurance Assessors (QAA) for the assessment of the ongoing internship phase of the TVET/IDEAS training in aquaculture enterprise at the University’s Department of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Wildlife Management.
The team, led by Dr Raphael Prince, assessed the practical application of skills acquired by trainees under the World Bank-supported TVET/IDEAS project, which commenced in January 2026.

The assessment is to ensure that the training meets the standards required for the NABTEB certification to be awarded to trainees at the completion of the project.
The programme is being implemented under the Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS) Project of the Federal Ministry of Education, with support from the World Bank.
