YABATECH Students’ Union Provides Update on Newly Released Academic Calendar

The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) acknowledges the release of the long-awaited academic calendar by the management.

Key dates include:

• Students’ Week: December 8th – 12th, 2025
• Practical Examinations: December 15th – 19th, 2025
• Second Semester Examinations Commencement: January 5th, 2026

After reviewing the schedule, the SUG engaged the management to raise students’ concerns regarding the proximity of academic activities to the festive season, citing inconvenience and impracticality.

Despite these efforts, no adjustments have been approved at this time.

The Union assures students that advocacy for a more accommodating calendar continues, and any updates will be promptly shared through official SUG channels.

Students are encouraged to stay informed, prepare adequately, and remain calm as the academic schedule proceeds.
