The Vice Chancellor, Federal University of Technology (FUTMinna), Professor Faruk Adamu Kuta has stated that no fewer than about 189 undergraduate students of the University will be awarded First Class Degrees in various disciplines as the Institution is poised to graduate 7,312 students during it’s 31st and 32nd combined convocation for 2020/2021 and 2022/2023 academic sessions.

It was further gathered that the combined convocation of the University which is scheduled for 1st February 2024 at the institution’s convocation square at the Gidan Kwano Main Campus of the Institution, will also see the award of second-class degrees (upper division) to 2,190 graduating students and 3,410 second-class degrees (lower division) to deserving students.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Faruk Adamu Kuta stated this while briefing Journalists at the Conference Hall of the University’s Senate building in Gidan Kwano, Main Campus of the University yesterday ( Tuesday ) as part of the activities marking the combined convocations and founders day ceremony, adding that of this number, 71 students bagged First Class in the 2020/2021 academic session, while 116 others bagged First Class in the 2022 /2023 academic session.
