Federal University Gashua Addresses Student Concerns, Announces NELFUND Portal Opening

The management of Federal University Gashua (FUGA) has addressed concerns raised by students regarding the NELFUND Students' Loan Scheme. In a statement, the university assured students that their concerns have been heard and addressed.

The university confirmed that the NELFUND portal is now open for students to apply for the loan scheme, particularly for those in the first batch who are currently receiving upkeep payments and fresh students who have never registered for NELFUND.

Regarding the second batch of students whose applications are stuck at the "verified" stage, the university is actively working with the relevant authorities to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

The university also appealed to students to refrain from insulting the management on social media, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive reputation for the institution.
