2024 Batch B Stream II Orientation Course Closes with Low-Key Ceremony at NYSC Damare Camp

The 2024 Batch B Stream II Orientation Course for Adamawa State ended with a low-key ceremony led by NYSC State Coordinator Mr. Ateli Samson, who praised the corps members and emphasized the importance of applying camp lessons at their PPAs.

The 2024 Batch B Stream II Orientation Course for corps members deployed to Adamawa State concluded with a low-key yet significant ceremony at the NYSC Damare Camp. The terminal parade and official closing ceremony were presided over by the NYSC State Coordinator, Mr. Ateli Samson, at precisely 6:47 a.m. The timing was set to ensure that corps members could travel to their various Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) and allow those relocating out of state ample time to do so.

In his address, Mr. Ateli Samson congratulated the corps members for completing the three-week orientation successfully and emphasized the importance of maintaining the friendships and rapport they had developed. He encouraged them to carry forward the lessons learned in camp to their respective PPAs and to embody the principles of national unity and integration, which are central to the NYSC scheme.

Mr. Ateli also acknowledged the corps members planning to relocate, reminding them, "Once Adamawa Copa, always Adamawa Copa." He expressed gratitude to the state government for its unwavering support of the NYSC scheme and to the Director General of NYSC for visiting the Adamawa State NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp during the course.
