ABSU Issues Notice on Extension of Date for Commencement of 2nd Semester Exam for 2022/2023 Session
The Vice-Chancellor, Abia State University, Distinguished Professor Onyemachi M. Ogbulu, on behalf of Senate, has graciously approved extension of date for commencement of the second semester, 2022/2023 academic session examinations by two weeks.

The examinations earlier scheduled to commence on Thursday, 15th February, will now start on Thursday, 29th February, with the Faculty of Education, while other Faculties will commence on Tuesday, 5th March, 2024.
Accordingly, the Senate policy on registration of courses and payment of fees, as prerequisite for writing semester examinations in the University will be strictly implemented.
Therefore, only bonafide students of the University who have registered their courses and paid their appropriate fees will be eligible to write the examinations commencing Thursday, 29th February, 2024.

The students, their parents, guardians and sponsors are to note and ensure strict compliance.
