In commemoration of World No Tobacco Day, the Nigerian Medical Laboratory Science Student Association (NIMELSSA), Abia State University (ABSU) Chapter, has launched a robust online awareness campaign. Led by the Director of Health Elect, Comr. Ikebunna Charleslaw, the campaign aims to shed light on the detrimental effects of tobacco use and advocate for a tobacco-free society.

With the theme "We Need Food, Not Tobacco's," the campaign underscores the urgent need to prioritize health and well-being over harmful habits. Recognizing the global initiative led by the World Health Organization (WHO), the ABSU Chapter of NIMELSSA seeks to educate the public about the risks associated with tobacco consumption, including smoking and smokeless tobacco products.
