ABU ENACTUS Team leaves for Bahrain to participate at World Entrepreneurship Investment Forum

The ENACTUS (Entrepreneurial Action and Us) Team for Ahmadu Bello University has left for Bahrain to participate at the World Entrepreneurship Investment Forum (WEIF) holding from 13th – 16th May, 2024.

The forum, according to the Faculty Advisor, Prof. M.K. Aliyu, mni, is a conference aimed at connecting young entrepreneurs from around the world to potential investors.

The team, which was nominated by the Entreprise Development Centre of Pan-Atlantic University in Lagos, is being represented at the 4-day event by its leader.

The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), which is supporting a total of 100 people from Africa to attend the event, has fully sponsored the team.

Prof. M.K. Aliyu, the Faculty Advisor for ABU ENACTUS Team, explained that the team would showcase its famous products of shoe polish (Plastic to Paint – P2P) under its registered company, PUP Industries.

The Faculty Advisor, who notified the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, of the trip in a letter dated 10th May, 2024, expressed appreciation to the University Management for its tremendous support to the team.
