Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria, has initiated the ABU Energy and Innovation Challenge (ABUEIC) aimed at discovering and supporting homegrown clean energy solutions developed by students, staff, and alumni, according to Principal Investigator Dr A S Abdulrasheed.

Prof Maryam Aminu highlighted ABUEIC's alignment of research with real-world impact for sustainable energy, linking academia, industry, government.
