ABUAD Student Modupe Akintan Graduates with First-Class Honors , Emerges as Best Graduating Student in Computer Engineering

Modupe Akintan has made history as the best graduating student in the Computer Engineering department at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD). The brilliant student achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.84 out of a possible 5.00, earning her a well-deserved first-class honours degree. In addition to her academic prowess, she has also obtained a Microsoft certification.

Modupe Akintan has made history as the best graduating student in the Computer Engineering department at Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD). The brilliant student achieved a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.84 out of a possible 5.00, earning her a well-deserved first-class honours degree.

Akintan’s exceptional academic performance has not gone unnoticed. She was recently awarded the title of the university’s best graduating student in Computer Engineering. In addition to her academic prowess, she has also obtained a Microsoft certification.

In a post on LinkedIn, Modupe expressed her excitement over her academic accomplishments. "I graduated from Afe Babalola University as the BEST GRADUATING STUDENT in the Department of COMPUTER ENGINEERING with a C.G.P.A of 4.84/5.00 and also got inducted as the a Graduate member of the Azure Expert," she shared.

Despite the challenges of balancing her studies with active involvement in various organizations during her final year, Modupe managed to excel in her academic pursuits. She served as a member and the editor-in-chief of the Student Representative Council at ABUAD, as well as the first co-academic secretary of the Nigerian Universities Engineering Student Association at ABUAD. Additionally, she took on the role of the first-ever student branch chairman of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) at the university.
