Adamawa State University Senate Elects Two Deputy Vice Chancellors

The Senate of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, has elected two Deputy Vice Chancellors for confirmation by the Governing Council.

The election, held during the 128th Regular Senate Meeting on May 29, 2025, saw Professor Aliyu Jibrilla and Professor Marcel Agah emerge as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics) and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), respectively.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Augustine Clement, nominated four eligible Senate members, and the two candidates were elected through a transparent voting process. Their names will be forwarded to the University Governing Council for confirmation and formal appointment.
