The Association for Formidable Educational Development (AFED) has reiterated the critical need for continuous teacher training programs to prepare educators for the challenges of the 21st century. Emmanuel Orji Kanu, the National President of AFED, emphasized the importance of ongoing training for teachers to enhance their effectiveness in the ever-evolving educational landscape.

Speaking on the sidelines of the convocation ceremony at Buckingham University in the United Kingdom, where 124 graduates completed the Diploma program, Kanu stressed the pivotal role teachers play in national development. He highlighted that teachers are the facilitators of education and must receive priority attention in terms of training and development.

Kanu stated, "If you are a teacher and you are not trained and retrained, there is no way such a person can improve, and whoever wants to make an impact must be constantly trained to keep pace with development."

During the event held at Zaneta Hub in Lagos, 137 new students took the matriculation oath. Mr. Reuben Nyikwagh, the Programme Director, emphasized the school's role in addressing the challenges faced by teachers in the classroom.
