The Africa Pandemic Sciences Collaborative (the Collaborative) and its partners recently concluded a vital onboarding workshop focused on Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL). The event was hosted in partnership with the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan (CoMUI).

Held from November 24th to 27th, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lagos State, Nigeria, the intensive training brought together 30 researchers and professionals. Attendees traveled from various African nations as well as the University of Oxford, England, fostering a diverse and collaborative environment aimed at strengthening future pandemic response strategies across the continent.
