Ahmadu Bello University Announces 44th Convocation Ceremony

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, is set to hold its 44th convocation ceremony on January 25, 2025.

The event, scheduled to take place at the Mamman Kontagora Square, ABU Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria, will commence at 9:00 am prompt.

The convocation ceremony will confer first degrees, postgraduate diplomas, higher degrees, and honorary degrees on deserving individuals. A pre-convocation lecture, titled "Agriculture and Food Security: A Path to Economic Growth and Climate Resilience in Nigeria," will be delivered by His Excellency Alh. Ahmadu Adamu Mu'azu, former Governor of Bauchi State, on January 24, 2025, at 10:00 am prompt. The lecture will be chaired by His Excellency Chief Segun Osoba, former Governor of Ogun State, and will take place at the Abdullahi Mahadi Conference Centre, opposite the Gymnasium, ABU Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria.

The event will be streamed live, allowing global participation and engagement. The university community and the general public are cordially invited to attend the convocation ceremony and pre-convocation lecture.
