Ahmadu Bello University Extends Deadline for 2025/2026 Postgraduate Applications

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has announced a final extension for the online sale of postgraduate application forms for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

In a special bulletin released on Friday, January 23, 2026, the University's Postgraduate College notified the general public that the application window has been extended to Sunday, February 15, 2026.

Prospective applicants are directed to visit the College website at https://pgc.abu.edu.ng for a list of available programmes and admission requirements. Forms can be purchased directly via the link: https://portal.abu.edu.ng/forms.

Applicants are required to note the following key details:

The application form costs N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only, excluding bank charges.

PhD candidates must upload a proposal of not more than 300 words outlining their intended research work.

Valid phone numbers and e-mail addresses are mandatory for all applicants.

Candidates must ensure they possess basic entry requirements of five O'level credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
