The Faculty of Education at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has matriculated and oriented newly admitted Long Vocation Training (LVT) students for the 2023/2024 academic session. The ceremony was held at the Red Theater on the main campus in Samaru, Zaria.

Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala, the Dean of Students Affairs, Prof. Sahalu Junaidu, congratulated the students for their successful admission, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the university’s rules and traditions. He noted that university education prepares students for life as good citizens and wished them a fruitful experience at ABU.

Prof. Sani Mukhtar Bichi, the Faculty's exam officer, reiterated the importance of examinations and outlined the strict rules regarding exam conduct. He warned against the use of unauthorized materials, noting that violations would result in severe penalties, including expulsion.

Dr. Aliyu Dalha Kankia, Deputy Registrar Academic Affairs, cautioned that absences without approval would affect students’ grades, while Prof. Adamu Aliyu, Chair of the Examination Regularities and Irregularities Committee, emphasized the serious consequences of exam malpractice.

Security and health tips were provided, along with presentations on scholarships and counseling services. The event concluded with goodwill messages and a question-and-answer session.
