Ahmadu Bello University Management Felicitates with Muslim Faithful on Eid-el-Fitr
Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has extended Sallah greetings to staff, students, and the public as Nigeria marks Eid-el-Fitr. In line with the Federal Government's declaration, Monday, 31st March, and Tuesday, 1st April 2025, have been designated as public holidays, with normal university activities resuming on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025.

The Management of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has extended warm Sallah greetings to staff, students, and the general public as the country marks the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
In line with the Federal Government's declaration, Monday, 31st March, and Tuesday, 1st April 2025, have been designated as public holidays to commemorate the conclusion of Ramadan. Consequently, normal academic and administrative activities at the university will resume on Wednesday, 2nd April 2025.
ABU Management expressed its best wishes to the university community and all Nigerians, praying for a joyous and peaceful celebration. The university also reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a harmonious environment for learning and national development.
Eid-el-Fitr, a significant Islamic festival, marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, prayer, and reflection for Muslims worldwide. It is a period of gratitude, charity, and strengthening communal bonds.
The announcement was made through a special bulletin issued by the Public Affairs Directorate, Office of the Vice-Chancellor, and published by Ahmadu Bello University Press Limited.
