The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Tajuddeen Abbas, has secured a N5 billion Federal Government intervention project for Ahmadu Bello University (ABU).

This was announced by the Chairman of Zaria Local Government, Engr. Jameel Ahmad Muhammad, during a courtesy visit to the outgoing Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kabiru Bala.

The Vice-Chancellor commended the Speaker for the interventions, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high standards in the execution of the projects. He urged the contractors, Laralec Ultimate Limited, to prioritize functionality over aesthetics.
