In a strategic move to enhance institutional transparency and student engagement, the management of Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic (Akwapoly) held a comprehensive interactive session with the student body today, Monday, January 26, 2026.

The meeting, hosted at the Polytechnic Library Conference Hall, was led by the Acting Rector, Dr. Akanimo Jonah, supported by key members of the management board. The forum served as an open platform for "one-on-one" dialogue, allowing students to bypass traditional barriers and speak directly to the administration.

In his response, Dr. Jonah emphasized that the management is committed to a policy of active listening and rapid response. He assured the students that every concern raised had been documented and would be addressed systematically to ensure a conducive learning environment. 

The session underscored the institution's dedication to maintaining a harmonious relationship with its primary stakeholders—the students. By fostering this culture of dialogue, the management aims to preempt grievances and build a more inclusive academic community.
