Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic Schedules Library Orientation for NDI and HNDI Students

Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, has announced a two-day library orientation exercise for all National Diploma I (NDI) and Higher National Diploma I (HNDI) students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, Ikot Ekpene, has announced a two-day library orientation exercise for all National Diploma I (NDI) and Higher National Diploma I (HNDI) students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The exercise, organised by the Institution’s Library Unit, will take place from Tuesday, January 20 to Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at the Polytechnic Library Conference Hall. It is aimed at promoting good reading habits and creating awareness of the resources and services available in the library.

According to a circular issued by the Acting Registrar, Mr Godswill E. Udofah, MNIM, the programme is compulsory for all affected students, and the days assigned to each school have been declared lecture, test and examination-free to ensure full participation.

On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, students from the School of Applied Sciences, School of Communication Arts, and School of Environmental Studies are expected to attend from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, students from the School of Business and Management and the School of Engineering Technology will take their turn, also from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

The Polytechnic management has directed that the information be given wide publicity, urging all concerned students to attend as scheduled.
