Almajiri Education Commission Seeks Collaboration with Bayero University Kano

A delegation from the National Commission for Almajiri and Out of School Children Education, led by Executive Secretary Dr. Muhammad Sani Idris, paid a courtesy visit to Bayero University Kano (BUK) on August 29, 2024.

The team was received by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Professor Muhammad Sani Gumel, and accompanied by former State Minister of Education, Honourable Aishatu Jibril Dukku.

Dr. Idris expressed the commission's desire to collaborate with BUK, seeking support and advice to achieve its objectives. He emphasized the need for practical ways to address the challenges of almajiri and out-of-school children's education.

Honourable Dr. Aishatu Jibrl Dukku, former Member House of Representatives and former State Minister of State for Education, urged the university to support the commission's efforts, highlighting the importance of education in transforming the lives of almajiri and out-of-school children.
