The Students Union Government (SUG) of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi has taken a significant step towards addressing the long-standing water scarcity issue in the university community.

The SUG has installed three new 4000-liter geepee tanks in the hostels, providing a lasting solution to the water shortages that have plagued the community.

The SUG, led by President Sen. Wakili Dauda Abdulrahman and Secretary-General Comr. Danladi Adamu Alhaji (Zakiru), has been working tirelessly to ensure access to clean water for all students. This initiative is in line with their mission to provide a sustainable solution to the water crisis, with the slogan "Lasting solution to BA Ruwa Ba wuta".
