The Lagos State University (LASU) has announced a significant change in its direct entry admission process. As of the 2024/2025 academic session, LASU will no longer accept direct entry applicants from other schools into its NCEs (Educational Courses) Programme, unless they have successfully completed LASU's JUPEB Programme/Diploma Programme.

  • Previous Policy: Previously, students from other institutions could apply directly for admission into LASU's NCEs Programme.
  • New Requirement: To be eligible for direct entry into LASU's NCEs Programme, candidates must have completed the LASU JUPEB Programme or Diploma Programme.
  • Transition to 200 Level: Successful completion of the JUPEB Programme or Diploma Programme will usher candidates into the 200-level degree programs at LASU.
