The Vice-Chancellor of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, ATBU, Professor Ibrahim Hassan Garba, has been honoured with the Award of Excellence as the Icon of Integrity and Educational Development by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC's Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association, ZTCA.  

The award was presented in recognition of his unwavering commitment to integrity, accountability, transparent leadership, and his remarkable contributions to the advancement of education. It also acknowledges his dedication to promoting ethical values, good governance, and institutional development within the Nigerian university system.

The Zero Tolerance for Corruption Association, ZTCA, is an anti-corruption advocacy group that works closely with the EFCC. The association promotes integrity, transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership through awareness campaigns and public recognition of individuals whose records reflect these values. Over the years, ZTCA has conferred similar honours on distinguished public servants, university administrators, and leaders who have demonstrated exemplary service and commitment to nation-building.
