Baba Ahmed University Kano Basketball Team Competes in 1st Kanawa Tertiary Institution Basketball Championship

The Baba-Ahmed University Kano (BAUK) basketball team participated in the 1st Kanawa Tertiary Institution Basketball Championship 2025, an exciting tournament organized in collaboration with the DAM Foundation.

The five-day championship features 13 tertiary institutions competing for top honors in university basketball. In the opening match, BAUK faced Bayero University Kano (BUK) in a thrilling contest. Despite their best efforts, BAUK suffered a 15-55 defeat against BUK.

The tournament aims to promote sportsmanship, unity, and basketball excellence among tertiary institutions. With more matches ahead, the competition promises to be an engaging showcase of emerging talent.
